Day
This was a splendid day - £405 was raised and teams of people picked up a lot of rubbish around Shoeburyness. The BBQ was very tasty – well done to all involved.
XMAS CARDS
ROTTC Christmas cards will be on sale as from Sunday 19th November.
The cost is £4.50 for a pack of 10 cards and there are 3 designs to choose from.
The profit on these cards will be sent to South Africa to help support our work there.
Junior & Janice
We are cycling 56 miles from West Ham Park in Newham, East London, finishing in the pretty gardens of Priory Park, Southend in aid of Reach Out To The Child SA. You may remember hearing about or supporting the ROTTC S.A virtual walk last year... Did you notice, we never came back! A number of the children attending schools at Tshongwe, Ekuseni and Nhlamvu walk up to 10km just to get there every day, so on 1st July 2023 we are organizing a sponsored 'walk to school' to raise funds for L.K.
You can join in by getting hold of the 'sponsored walk form' (see link below) and signing up to walk as far as you think you can go, up to 10km. Or you can find out who is walking and offer to sponsor them for each kilometre they walk.
We aim to assemble at STBBC at 10:00am and set off down Thorpedene Gardens and Waterford Road to reach the promenade. For those doing 10km, we will then walk up to just past the Kursaal before turning around and heading back.

Curry night
We are very grateful to all who supported our Curry Night at the Polash, in aid of ROTTC.
We raised a total of £1037 for supporting After School Clubs in Kwa Zulu Natal.
Also, Sheikh Khalique could not have been more helpful and the venue and the food were great..
